The Benefits Manager will report to the Sr. Benefits Manager located at Piedmont's Shared Services Organization. This is a supervisory position that requires effective communication and demonstrated knowledge of laws pertaining to employee benefit plans as well as federal and state compliance laws.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise staff for accurate, timely updates and maintenance of employee benefits files, processing of new hires, terminations, open enrollment, miscellaneous changes and data entry into our HRIS software system Workday. Be a liaison between employees, insurance providers and resolve benefit related problems and ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations.
Work with the various insurance carriers, administrators, service providers and consultants to optimize benefit and worker's compensation programs. Assist with
