Lucas Group has partnered with a large and fast-growing building materials distributor in their search for an experienced Benefits Manager to join their Orange County, CA-based corporate HR team. Reporting directly to the VP of HR, the Benefits Manager will help manage and develop the company's benefits offerings in the midst of their quick growth and integration activities. The ideal candidate for this position will be a dynamic individual who is capable of multi-tasking while successfully maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction to both external and internal customers. Responsibilities of this will the directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs, surveying industry and area companies to determine the company's competitive position in employee benefits, and developing cost control procedures to assure maximum coverage at the least possible cost to company and employee. The Benefits Manager will develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package. Design and distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions. Provide training and support to group benefits associates, home office associates and the field staff. They will perform benefits administration and coordinate daily benefits processing.
