Pierce Group Benefits is currently one of the largest regional providers of employee benefits consulting and administration in both Virginia and North Carolina. Our firm is a full service employee benefits brokerage that designs and communicates comprehensive benefits packages for large employers currently serving over 150 clients with 160,000+ employees. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and possesses a strong work ethic. Also, we are seeking someone with a sound understanding of key employee benefit issues facing employers today and the ability to present viable solutions that are both creative and cost-effective to address those needs.

Desired skills:

  • 5+ years of health insurance experiencepreferred
  • Self-Insured health planexperiencedesired
  • Life & Health Insurance License required
  • Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present health insurance renewals and benchmarking to clients
  • Deliver presentations to client leadership or elected boards as necessary
  • Provide a consultative approach to clients and work with carriers for benefit options
  • Assist clients with health and wellness education strategies
