Experience with working as part of a team and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals in health care settings. Experience working as a primary care provider with young children. Proficient Word, Excel and Power Point. RN and APN License in the state of IllinoisCertificate in specialty. The Developmental, Behavioral, Mental Health, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will provides training and technical assistance and assume responsibility for completing developmental and behavioral consultation to primary care providers regarding children with developmental, behavioral, and learning disorders as well as mental health concerns. Provides training and technical assistance in prevention and health promotion to multidisciplinary teams throughout Advocate and the state of Illinois by being knowledgeable, self~directed, and collaborative.Accountabilities:Evaluation, data gathering, and grant reports and proposalsResearch: Participates in research projects and promotes research by making appropriate recommendations for changes in policies, procedures, and practice.Consultant: Serves as consultant and/or resource person in Developmental Behavioral Mental Health, provides consultation to Pediatric and Family Practice Primary Care sites, Residency Programs, and assists them with referrals to community resources as needed.
