The Behavioral Health Ambulatory Program Manager will participate on the Leadership Team as Program Manager for treatment program(s) and outpatient services. Reports to Director. Provides the Director with sufficient data and information to effectively support the administrative and clinical functions of the program within Behavioral Health Ambulatory Services. Ensures compliance with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, Comprehensive Services Act contract requirements and Joint Commission standards as they apply to Hospital Based Programs and/or Outpatient Services. Provides direct and indirect clinical supervision to outpatient counselors to enhance their individual counseling skills and the quality of services to patients. Provides direction and management to direct reports and all employees in department. Handles employee relations and staff development for direct reports. Develop goals and manages fiscal activities of the department. Establishes and maintains a therapeutic, prosocial treatment environment.

Required: Five years’ experience post Master's degree, counseling and therapy experience with children, adolescents, adults and families. Increasing levels of administrative responsibility.
Required: Master's Degree.
Behavior management techniques, concepts of therapeutic milieu and counseling theory.
Required: Heart Saver CPR Certification.
Required: LCSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist. Licensed in mental health discipline.
*Ability to perform clinical supervision.
