Job Description
Creditors' rights law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney. Position requires client contact and a high-volume workload. License to practice law required; license to practice in Georgia preferred.
Basic Function
Management of routine bankruptcy matters; drafting and reviewing pleadings and claims filed in bankruptcy cases; potential hearing attendance; responding to general firm wide bankruptcy inquiries; and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
-Reviewing filings on behalf of the clients
-Monitoring of all electronic filings (ECFs)
-Resolving routine bankruptcy matters
-Regular communication with the client, opposing counsel and the Court
Required Skills
Knowledge of bankruptcy rules/laws and general Creditor Rights laws
Computer Literacy Professionalism
Keyboard Skills Attention to detail
Time Management Communication Skills
Education
Law degree - JD
License to practice law (Georgia license preferred)
Admitted to District and/or Bankruptcy Courts in Georgia preferred
Experience
3-5 years Bankruptcy experience
