Well-established New Jersey based Community Bank with a billion in assets, seeking an experienced Banking Deposit Specialist/ VP, with 4 years Commercial/Business Banking experience currently working in this area of banking, with to work out of the Gloucester County offices, the Bank is seeking an exemplary individual to lead the bank’s deposit account initiatives. Ideal candidate: Will be knowledgeable and experienced in a wide variety of depository products and services. The success of this positon will be measured primarily by growth of the bank’s low cost account deposits, both consumer and business. The Deposit Specialists will ensure that applicable Bank policies and procedures are followed, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance Accounting, economics, business administration or business related concentration, and have a Book of Business Experience: Establish and grow new consumer and business checking and savings products, Thorough knowledge of bank products including sales product development and pricing, Extensive knowledge and subject matter expertise, Experience in building and maintaining relationships with customers and prospects, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Strong prospecting and sales skills, Outstanding customer service skills in order to be courteous, professional, to provide prompt, efficient and accurate service, Responsibilities: Develop new banking relationships with business prospects and maintaining existing business banking client base to achieve established goals, 80-90% of time will be spent in the market area to generate business by identifying new prospects, calling on prospective customers, establishing suitable methods of contact, determine appropriate products and/or services and attending networking functions, Meet or exceed mutually agreed on deposit growth goals, Understand and carry out senior managements sales objective(s) within respective marketplace, Interface with customers and all levels of management to ensure thorough implementation of services and exceptional support and customer experience, Develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse clients to strive to understand customer’s needs while developing satisfied and loyal customers by exceeding customers’ expectations in every interaction and cross-selling products or services that are beneficial to the customer, Performs all other duties as assigned by Management as related to the Bank and its functions, Position Offers: A salary is commensurate with the candidate’s experience and expertise, 85K to 120K+ there are production and performance bonuses available, Excellent PAID benefit package.
