Duties and Responsibilities:

CRE Relationship Manager will focus on underwriting most notably in preparing credit memorandums and other account and relationship maintenance functions (e.g., annual reviews, problem asset reports) this is NOT a new business generation position

Management of a commercial real estate loanportfolio, which is to include evaluating, underwriting and monitoring all aspects of assigned relationships

Obtain all necessary information to process a request including financial information and project information

Performs site visits during the evaluation process

Obtains appropriate credit checks

Management of Relationships:        

Inspects projects on an on-going basis and meet/communicate with Borrowers regularly

Quarterly inspections of all Bank loan/draw files to verify all information is accurate and files appropriately maintained

Reviews and approves all loan draws as appropriate, any discrepancies in the budget or inspections should be handled prior to the disbursement of funds.  RM should be aware of budgets that are not in balance and corrections should be made prior to funding of any draws

Monthly reviews of risk grading on loanportfolio, any recommended changes should be made in an appropriate period of time and with the necessary documentation

RM should make all necessary attempts to complete renewals, modifications and extensions prior to the maturity of any loan. All necessary documentation to complete the requests, appraisals and financials should be obtained as early as possible so as not to cause a delay in the process

The highest level of customer service should be provided on each relationship, RM have an obligation to troubleshoot problems as they arise as well as keep customers informed of new products & services the Bank provides.  It is desire to provide all customers with the highest quality of customer service in both loans and deposits

RM should be able and prepared to make recommendations on all credit involving renewals, modifications, convents and exit strategies

Approves all Title Policies for accuracy and compliance with Letters of Instruction

Approves all Letters of Instructions to the title companies including reviewing all prelims (all ins and outs must be completed by RM)

Minimum Requirements:

College graduate or the equivalent training and experience plus appropriate and specific education and training in banking subjects

Five + years of bankingexperience with a primary emphasis on commercial real estate

OPEN to Relocation Candidates

Possess a high degree of human relationship skills, must be an effective communicator both oral and written.  Must have the ability to work efficiently within the real estate community

Must have business principles and be able to analyze financial documents as to the present and/or prospective success of the prospects/customers operation.
