The role
This is a hands-on, architecture-heavy individual contributor role at the core of backend and systems infrastructure. You will design and build foundational systems from scratch, working directly under engineering leadership in a lean, high-output environment across globally distributed teams in the US and India.
What you'll work on
- Designing and building critical systems from the ground up across security, data pipelines, and system-level infrastructure
- Data connectors, agents (Windows and Unix), vector serialization, and rules engines
- Scalability and performance architecture across complex backend modules
- Working across a high-ownership engineering culture where strong engineers shape technical direction
What we're looking for
- 12-15+ years of strong software engineering experience
- A background that combines solutions architecture with deep, hands-on coding - you design it and build it
- Go as a primary production language - this is a hard requirement
- Experience building systems or modules from scratch with full ownership of decisions
- Exposure to products in security, data pipelines, or search
- Comfortable operating in high-intensity startup environments with evolving priorities
