Overview

We have positions available for our client who is a US Tier 1 cellular network operator. The client’s project team is responsible for the migration of network functionality and applications from a private to public cloud environment using Azure.

The position requires somebody who has hands-on experience managing Azure, or AWS, and also has some development experience as they will be expected to develop solutions that enable them, and potentially others, to execute effective and efficient migrations.

No Sponsorship will be provided for the role -No H1b candidates.

Duties

·Interact closely with client’s Cloud Architects, Public Cloud provider personnel, and client’s application owners to achieve a successful migration

·Work with Network Functionality/Application owners to understand migration requirements

·In collaboration with all parties, develop a custom migration process for the Network Functionality/Application by using standard process and identifying any customization needed

·When required, develop custom processes and automation that enable/ improve the migration process

·Document and Communicate any changes needed to the Azure solution

·Provide inputs to migration network planning team for scheduling

·Create and maintain migration documentation

·Execute and validate migration processes in Pre-Production and Production Environments

·Analysis of Pre-production validation results, fault investigation/ troubleshooting, and defect identification.

·Pre-Production Defect Management – multi-team collaboration, tracking, RCA, and resolution.

·Handover of migrated Network Functionality/Application to owners including demos, technical user guides, and training

·Post-delivery support to Pre-Production/ Production Network Functionality/Application owners

·Tier III Tech Support to Network Functionality/Application owners

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

·Expert level understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container-orchestration best practices
