The CCAR Regulatory Risk Reporting Analyst will join a team focused on preparing andreporting of the potential lossesassociated with the semi-annual CCAR capital planning and review process.  This process is designed to test each firm’sinternal analysis of their capital adequacy and for this role, focuses on the companies Available for Sale (AFS) and Held to Maturity (HTM) Securities.The primary responsibility of this role will be tosupport the process of generating stress results and the ongoing analysis of those results for explanations and accuracy.  This person will also be involved in workassociated with the updated stress test to dynamically hedge our capital exposure, an update to our current FAS 52processes.  Additionalresponsibilities will include the review of input data and the consolidation of multiple model outputs into various presentations for management consumption.The role also includesworking withTechnology and the business to develop automated solutions to streamline future submissionsprocesses and analysis.  This includes the business requirements, testing and work to deploy the technology builds. Responsibilities will include: 

  • Production of the Other Comprehensive Income (OCI) and Other Than Temporary Impairment (OTTI) results
  • Analysis of the results to ensure accuracy and provide main drivers decomposition
  • Reporting of the key driver components for presentation and management use
  • Working with the key players to create an updated stress methodology to dynamically stress our FAS 52
  • Identify process improvements and capabilities to increase consistency, transparency, and reliability of stress testing results
  • Partner with Technology to build, test and deploy strategies for an automated solutions to ensure complete, correct and timely reporting
  • Interface with Risk CAO, Risk Managers, Business Managers, Model Owners, Finance, and Corporate counterparts to ensure robust execution and compliance with all requirements
  • Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide ad-hocsupport and analysis
  • Assist with implementation of key controls and maintenance of associated process documentation


The core strengthsrequiredfor this position include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrated ability for problem solving and attention to detail
  • Solid analytical skills (Bachelors in a concentration with analytic focus, e.g. business, finance, economics, management information systems, etc.).
  • Five plus years of experience in the financial services industry; risk/business/financeexperiencepreferred; understanding of the Treasury function and bonds is a plus
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication required to effectively communicate and collaborate with the various CCAR and functional teams (e.g. risk, finance, analytics, technology)
  • Self-motivated with an intellectual curiosity and interest in risk analysis
  • Ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with risk measurement and accounting methodologies (e.g. stress testing, risk capital, Basel) a plus
