Job Description


The AVP of Corporate IT Portfolio will have responsibilities for budget, resource planning, metrics, and customer engagement with our Corporate line of business


  • Oversee budget, resource, capacity, and project management disciplines
  • Work with the IT Project Management team for new project work, including IT labor and equipment estimates (CBA), as well as prioritization of new work
  • Drive initiatives within the CFO's Office that improve Finance processes by leveraging technology, being specifically attentive to daily accounting procedures, maintenance of monthly, quarterly and year-end closing schedules and the related reporting
  • Work with the Accounting, Finance, and Treasury teams to design and implement and administer financial information systems; seeking ways to improve processes, financial analysis, financialreporting and security controls
  • Coordinate with the Compliance, Legal, Risk and Quality Control teams to design and implement and administer the systems in support of Governance Risk and Compliance; seeking ways to improve Policies and Procedures, Risk Management, Compliance monitoring, audit processes (SOX), and security controls
  • Identifies opportunities for improvements within these department processes and supporting systems and recommends methods and technologies for improvement


  • Extensive knowledge of SDLC and IT Technology development processes, and current with trends and issues in the information technology industry relating to financial/accounting and governance systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively to meet objectives
  • High level of problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to analyze information and use logic and process for problem resolution
  • Software Development Life Cycle Methodology (Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM): 7-10 years


  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science and/or related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with the Mortgage Industry or Financial Applications preferred
