Automation Project Engineer

Seeking Automation Project Engineer to serve as liaison between Project Manager and technical disciplines by assisting interpretation of job designs; ensuring jobs are constructed according to project plans; and supporting project controls to include: budgeting, planning, scheduling, designing, and programming; and serve as primary point of contact for the customer.
*** Interpret client requirements, develop electrical and control system design solutions, present solution to customer, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems, and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and within budget.
*** Oversee project workflow and supportinternal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of projects, expected quality, and allotted budget by creating accurate Bill of Materials, conducting cost and time estimation, and selecting equipment and parts from external suppliers.
*** Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements, robotic safety standards, etc.
*** Read and create CAD drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
*** Design control and electrical systems, including specification of vision, power, sensor, inspection, and communications systems.
*** Support manufacture, build, and validation of systems which include motor controls, pneumatics, servos, VFDs, relays, communication networks, touchscreens, pushbuttons, and robotic integration of Omron; Mitsubishi; Allen Bradley, or Siemens PLCs; RSLogix 5000 or 500; and Rockwell or Wonderware HMIs and OITs.
*** Create customer documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams, and electrical drawings.
*** Modify systems at customer request, document amendments, and provide on-site technical troubleshooting and repair.
