Provide engineering support for Laboratory automation systems, interfaces, and related equipment across the facility.
*** Plan and execute automation projects from start-up to completion.
*** Oversee automation systems at site including building automation systems (BAS), room monitoring systems (RMS), process and laboratory equipment automation, and similar.
*** Lead overall automation asset care strategy including upgrades, maintenance contracts, and changes.
*** Document and maintain project work plans, decisions, project deliverables, progress reports, schedules, cost tracking, and similar reports.
*** Update and develop User Requirement, Functional, Design, Operation and Maintenance, and similar Specifications for new and existing control systems.
*** Initiate and execute change control activities for automation systems.
*** Achieve reliable runtime of automation systems focusing on minimum downtime.
*** Address data integrity issues.
*** Support and execute automation qualifications and resolve all automation-related issues.
*** Ensure site's compliance with internal guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices, Computerized System Validation, and similar external regulatory requirements.
