The Test Automation Specialist, with a future-focused mindset, provide technical leadership and strategic direction. They transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity . They evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.
Description:Testing professionals utilize Accenture delivery assets to plan and implement testing and quality assurance initiatives to ensure solution quality before deployment.
Test Automation professionals provide specialized expertise in test automation using commercially available functional test tools. Apply Accenture´s recommended test automation framework and best practices.
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the followingresponsibilities:

  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
  • Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
  • Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Anyone considered for the role must be willing to relocate (if not already residing) in one of the following cities: Charlotte or Atlanta
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Test Automation in one of the following toolsets: Tosca or Worksoft
  • Demonstrated experience in installation and setup of Tosca or Worksoft infrastructure
  • A minimum of 2 years of experienceworking with Agile Delivery
  • A minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience in one of the following: Java/J2EE, Groovy, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, C#

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing custom controls in Tosca
  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in two of the following testing toolsets/frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Protractor, SoapUI, RestAssured, Karate
  • Test Frameworks: jUnit, TestNG, Mocha, Jest
  • BDD: Cucumber/Gherkin, Geb/Spock, SpecFlow, Serenity
  • Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration, including two or more of the following build/deploy/version control tools: Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, Git, Mercurial, Subversion, Bitbucket, GitHub
