Provide daily operations support to improve efficiency, yields, quality, productivity, and cost through introduction, maintenance and development of equipment for manufacturing silicon wafers and solar cells.
*** Optimize and maintain equipment functionality of Copper-Tin-Sulfide (CTS), Anode Buffer Layer (ABL), and Stacked Elemental Layer (SEL) systems to achieve best possible throughput, yield, quality and solar cell power.
*** Monitor CTS, ABL, and SEL production systems daily, responding to problems resulting in yield loss, cell tester alignment, calibration mismatch, quality excursions and low solar cell efficiency through root cause analysis.
***Support cell fab engineering team with ABL and SEL process, process control, documentation, improvement and development work.
***Support CTS process engineer to develop, sustain, and improve overall solar cell efficiency and factory performance.
*** Develop operational procedures, train production technicians and equipment operator on proper and safe execution, and verify compliance.
*** Ensure execution of reliable operation routines to achieve best repeatability and reproducibility across multiple solar cell print lines.
*** Maintain and equipment logs and production database, consolidate data for reporting line yield, and monitor crucial process parameters to ensure highest quality and efficiencies of solar cells.
*** Document changes, gather experimental data, report quality results, and compare wafer and cell defects of different natures.
