This individual will be expected to engage in dialogue with business unit management and various control partners to identify and assess risks and controls.

The Internal Audit Department, with over 300+employees globally, serves to protect the Company by improving the management of risks and the effectiveness of the control environment at the business, function and enterprise levels through valued independent assessments and advice on governance, risk and control. As an Audit Manager within the PGIM Audit Group, you will work with other team members to deploy our audit approach and ensure adequate audit coverage of numerous Prudential asset management businesses within PGIM, such as PGIM Fixed Income, Prudential Global Partners, Prudential Capital Group, PGIM Investments, PGIM Real Estate, PGIM Real Estate Finance, Jennison Associates, and QMA.
You have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk and evaluate controls.
You are a self-motivated and intellectually curious person with the desire to grow your business/technical acumen to remain current on business developments, industry trends in the asset management space, emerging risks, and changes to the financial and regulatory environments.
You have some experience with data analytics and seek to build upon your knowledge of approaches and tools. You enjoy working independently and are productive in a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of audit or other related experience within the financial services industry.
Some big 4 public accounting experience is preferred, but not required.
A Bachelor's degree, or higher, is required, preferably an accounting or finance degree.
An MBA, CPA, CIA or CISA is a plus, but not required.

This position is based in Newark, NJ; however, audit fieldwork will require some travel to other Prudential / PGIM offices which include both global and domestic locations.
Expected travel will generally vary between 5% and 20% depending on the assignment.
