The role involves working closely with our Washington DC team and the Audience Research Lead in collaboration with our colleagues across Kantar, our partners, global stakeholders and subcontractors and key decision-makers within USG agencies across DoD and DoS. We are seeking someone who is an excellent communicator, powerful project management and has an eye for excellence and attention to detail as our client will be maximizing opportunities to reach out to communities through all media platforms.
The core responsibility of this role will be to support, manage, develop, execute and analyze research to inform client activities and investments in media and communications. Client task orders will require use of multiple research tools and methodologies and we envisage analyzing a diverse range of data sources (quantitative, qualitative, online, offline, social media, opinion polls, academic research, census data, geospatial, mapping data, etc.). This role will support the senior leadership on the project and be expected to work autonomously on key activities in a supervised capacity. As your skills are identified and measured, you will gain more ability to directly manage parts of the project and become integral to the overall success of our work.
The candidate must have quantitative and qualitative acumen, a deep intellectual curiosity, and strength of client focus to identify, structure and implement strategies using appropriate analytical tools and frameworks on a wide range of data sources in a variety of markets. He/she should be an excellent listener and interpreter of information to support the design and executive of multiple, mixed-method, international initiatives for multiple USG stakeholders. The role requires someone who is calm, confident, and capable of working under conditions that will sometimes be complex and uncertain.
The ideal candidate will have advanced analytical skills to optimize client outcomes, creating and developing audience profiles for designated areas of interest. The candidate will support analysis and deliverables to help inform and drive communication strategies developed by our creative partners. The candidate will play an integral but key role in supporting creative in the delivery of media and communications that are optimally informed by our research, and in evaluating the impact of this creative in the markets among local audiences.
While Security Clearance is not an absolute requirement, we are ideally seeking a US citizen who had, has, or could (if required) qualify for TS/SCI clearance as this would facilitate participation in closed door sessions held by our prime partners, clients and stakeholders.
