Role Summary

  • Responsible for leading strategy, tool / process development and implementation of a comprehensive suite of consumer facing online (desktop & mobile) and in-store sales and service digital applications that collectively constitute the Audi Connected Retail Digital Experience in the U.S.
  • Lead Audi Connected Retail Digital Experience digital collaboration efforts between AoA and AUDI AG
  • Work with cross-functional departments within AoA to understand their business challenges; develop digital and experiential solutions to align with these challenges
  • Ensure Audi Connected Retail Digital Experience initiatives are aligned, supported and adopted by AoA Field and Dealers
  • Oversee work prioritization, staffing, budget allocation and agency integration for the AoA “CODE” digital operations team in San Francisco

Role Responsibilities Connected Retail & Digital Experience Strategy & Execution (40%)

  • Lead a team that is responsible for creation, prioritization, coordination, development & maintenance, launching and ensuring consistent national execution of Audi Connected Retail Digital Experience (online and in-dealership sales and service digital customer experiences)
  • Ensure Audi Connected Retail Digital Experience activities are aligned so that Audi dealers have the digital tools and processes in place to achieve 300K sales volume target by 2020

Brand Digital Operations (10%)

  • Set direction and oversee all brand digital activities and budgets, which include: Tier 1 website ( delivery 2+ million unique monthly visitors; vehicle configurator; inventory platform; digital brand marketing initiatives; brand digital innovation; vehicle product data; model-year changeover and new vehicle launch

Retail Digital Operations (10%)

  • Set direction and oversee all retail digital activities and budgets, which include: Tier 2 website platforms (DAG sites +; Tier 3 dealer website platform consisting of 300 dealer websites delivering 2+ million unique monthly visitors; Tier 3 dealer search and digital marketing activities; Audi native and 3rd party lead program (responsible for 20% of Audi U.S. sales); 3rd party retail digital plugins; online car buying strategy (Tier 1-3)

In-Store Digital Experience (10%)

  • Set direction and oversee consumer-facing sales and service in-store hardware and software components in the U.S., which includes: leading the Audi Progressive Retail Experience (PRE) to prioritize, concept, develop, launch and maintain dealership sales and service digital applications that elevate the customer experience at retail and streamline dealership processes; ensuring dealership adoption of PRE digital tools; Audi proprietary sales iPad application (Sales Assist); Audi proprietary vehicle preparation and delivery iPad application (eDelivery); Audi Digital Display program for large scale video content messaging and iPad screen-share presentation; testing, integrating with, endorsing and marketing to dealers a variety of 3rd party sales, service and loyalty hardware and software tools as part of the Audi Preferred Partner Program

Digital Ownership Operations (10%)

  • Set direction and oversee all digital ownership activities and budgets, which include: myAudi ownership portal; myAudi consumer mobile app; Audi Connect customer registration experience; utilizing Audi connected retail + Audi connected vehicle + 3rd party data feeds to create valuable front-end customer experiences for sales, service, ownership & repurchase

Digital Platform Operations (10%)

  • Set direction and oversee efficient standardized process to develop and maintain digital platform applications from business challenge identification, prioritization, concepting of digital solution, development, deployment and maintenance. Examples include: vehicle inventory platform; vehicle reservation platform

Global Collaboration with AUDI AG (10%)

  • Lead AoA digital collaboration initiatives with AUDI AG to establish ongoing global development collaboration of Audi digital platforms. Examples include: Dealership Digital Display platform; Tier 1 website, configurator and inventory platforms; myAudi app
