Summary of Position
The Contracts Manager will assist in the review of project contracts, requests for proposals, and other key agreements to ensure the proper allocation of risk, understanding of specific project obligations and compliance with contractual provisions. The position requires a thorough knowledge of contract provisions impacting our industry and the ability to effectively negotiate provisions to correctly adjust risk among several parties. In addition, the position requires an ability to understand the financial implications of various contract terms. The Contracts Manager must be detail-oriented and possess exceptional communication skills combined with practical business judgment. The Contracts Manager must work well across disciplines and articulate key concepts and build consensus around the best course of action for our firm. The individual will work closely with other professionals.
