If selected for the position you will serve as an Attorney Advisor. Typical assignments will include:
-Develop, promote, and interpret policy and guidelines with respect to the spectrum of issues within assigned programs and areas of law.
-Serve as the key legal advisor to EOUSA and the USAOs in assigned program areas.
-Provide authoritative advice and guidance on the interpretation, intent, and applicability of federal laws, regulations, and policies relating to bankruptcy and financial litigation.
- Identify USAO resource needs in assigned program areas and formulate and execute plans to address those needs.
-Initiate and maintain effective communications between EOUSA, United States Attorneys and their staffs, client agencies, congressional staff (where appropriate), Department officials, investigative agencies, and other agencies.<
