The Division of Orthodontics, UConn School of Dental Medicine offers a full-time faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level available immediately. All candidates must have DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and a certificate in Orthodontics from an accredited U.S. or Canadian orthodontic program. Board eligible or Board certified candidates are preferred. Candidates possessing a Masters or PhD in any of the biological sciences, with related research experience will be strongly considered. Applicants with clinical and research experience in TMJ disorders will be given preference. Responsibilities to include: teaching didactic and clinical orthodontics to undergraduate and advanced training/graduate students; development of a research emphasis independently or in collaboration with others; and academic service to the school and/or community. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to participate in a busy intramural practice. Salary is commensurate with training and experience.
