The successful candidate will commit to teaching our graduate program’s required Health Administration course, design and deliver elective courses for both graduate and undergraduate students, participate through committee assignments in the life of the university and seek extramural funding that expands our curriculum and research on topics of health administration.
An earned doctorate in health care management or administration, health services research or business administration is required. A substantive area of interest for this position is open, although persons with experience relevant to health disparities research, substance abuse, aging, disabilities or cancer are preferred.
Initial appointment to this position is for 2 years, with contract renewal contingent upon demonstrating success as a teacher and independent researcher. This is a 12-month, full-salary position that does not lead to tenure.
