The Director of Field Therapy Development is responsible for overseeing global technical, clinical, and administrative support for OSA products at clinical research sites and sales accounts. This role will hold leadership responsibility for a team of Field Clinical Specialist. Specific activities include, but are not limited to, the development of education and site optimization (vetting) best practices, the implementation and oversite of training/certification programs, site selection, preparation, management and follow up (for clinical trials) and data management and reporting.
We are looking for a self-starter who likes challenges requiring critical thinking and has keen problem-solving skills. In this role, your work will include activities such as;
? Working with OSA Leadership and Clinical Research to provide key insight into clinical trial design
? Partnering with Marketing and Clinical Research to effectively Manage Patient recruitment
? Develop Field Clinical Specialist, Sales Rep, Implanting Surgeon, and Titration Specialist training and certification programs
? Creating account vetting programs to ensure each site has the proper resources to support clinical and sales activities.
? Overseeing site preparation: Therapy planning (Timing), Training scheduling (surgical, patient, sleep lab)
? Leading a team of Field Clinical Specialists
? Managing and auditing Prepared ACM visit reports and audit results
? Ensuring facility compliance with company policies/procedures and State/ Federal regulations
? Overseeing FCS and clinical activities during surgical implantation events and sleep studies
? Managing data collection activities, reporting, and post-case follow up
? Developing clinical champions among current and potential customers for the advocacy of OSA products.
? Projecting manage clinical plans
The ideal person for this job should have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in a clinical education/clinical sales role. We prefer if you have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, healthcare administration or related field. You must also have a certification in Sleep Medicine (e.g. RST, RPSGT)
