We have a great opportunity available for an Associate Professional, Account Management / Channel Account Specialist for Microsoft Cloud – Azure (Instant Cloud Solutions)

Specifically launching our Instant Cloud Initiative. If you have a successful track record helping organizations navigate their journey to cloud-based platforms, this is a great chance to excel at what you love doing. This role is designed to exceed all sales targets, help our channel partners adopt new technologies to transform their companies, effectively communicate the advantages of various cloud solutions, evangelize the benefits of the Ingram Micro cloud portfolio, and help drive cloud adoption throughout the IT channel in Canada.


  • Manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales while expanding existing accounts specific to the Microsoft Azure platform
  • Understanding of the Microsoft Azure solution and its benefits
  • Helping to connect and build software vendor solutions in the Azure infrastructure
  • Ability to educate partners on the Microsoft Azure value proposition and relate it back to their business needs
  • Growing profitable sales, activations, and market share for the Microsoft Azure stack. Specifically, around top software solutions and how to operationalize them in Azure
  • Proven ability in helping partners build a cloud practice together with their active software solutions
  • Effectively communicate and educate channel partners on the benefits of the Ingram Micro cloud strategy
  • Resolving escalations on complex functions of order management with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Accurately track and manage all sales activities and updates within Microsoft CRM pipeline management tool
  • May travel up to 20% (which includes US travel)

Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the IT industry, the cloud landscape, distribution, and Ingram Micro's role in each
  • An exceptional focus on customer satisfaction through one-to-one, one-to-many and cross-market activities
  • Be able to work independently and to manage their time across multiple priorities and deliver against agreed targets
  • Proven track record in business development, managing partnerships and delivering against ambitious targets
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage time effectively
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills, problem solving agility, proven multi-tasking skills
  • Proven capabilities in sales negotiations and operational/transactional experience
  • University degree or College diploma with a minimum of 3 years experience selling IT solutions
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time across North America
