Thorough understanding of and ensuring the alignment of all training activities with the organization's and training department's strategies and objectives.
Evaluating the training needs of the business unit and organization by continuously capturing feedback from stakeholders, creating and measuring training effectiveness metrics, and completing needs analysis
Design and develop a blended training curriculum across Ferring Woman's Reproductive Health
portfolio of products for field sales organization.
Design and implement approved product training for initial and advanced sales reps utilizing proper facilitation techniques and adult learning principles.
Works closely with marketing, field sales leaders and all cross functional teams on train the trainer coursework for POA and National Sales Meetings. Build and follow Ferring POA process.
Assist in the establishment of standardizing training processes, including management of the on-line Learning Management System
Works with cross functional teams to build appropriate long-range e-learning opportunities & devise advanced selling skills workshops that support BU partners
Maintain ongoing dialogue with business partners to ensure sales training objectives are being addressed
Direct and coach Field Development Leaders through home-study, initial class processes and POA meetings
Project manages training curriculum that includes: content creation, vendor management, budget management, and communication to key stakeholders
Continuously evaluate training content by conducting post 101, 201 reviews with key business partners
Assists in the establishment of training standards across the business units and organization including training philosophy, strategy, instructional design, online and core materials
Cross train to obtain product and disease state knowledge in order to develop and facilitate training across the Ferring portfolio
Work in the Market (field) to gain an understanding of training effectiveness, needs, and possible solutions, while gaining customer insights and learnings
Bachelor's degree required
3+ years of Pharmaceutical sales experience required
2+ years of sales training experience preferred
Training certification a plus
Previous Reproductive Health and Women's Health experience is preferred
Hospital sales experience is preferred.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
Excellent Microsoft Office Skills are required. Working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles a plus
