Provide technical and thought leadership to team of quality assurance professionals engaged in distributed testing for large scale/enterprise class software development projects within the Banking, Insurance and Ecommerce domains, serving as the key QA liaison between the client, project management and test team. Conduct requirements gathering and analysis on-site; define the test strategy for the application; prepare test plans; set realistic expectations and timelines for deliverables; allocate and coordinate daily tasks among QA team members located on and off-shore and provide them with technical leadership and guidance on testing for the rules developed within business process management platforms using Selenium; communicate to off-shore test team required functional and technical knowledge needed to conduct the necessary testing; set up the test environment and monitor test activities; engage in defect tracking; analyze risk and implement mitigation and contingency plans; monitor and escalate concerns to management; review all QA deliverables to ensure conformity to quality standards. Position involves work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Employer is an IT consulting firm that assigns employees, often on short notice, to work at various project sites that cannot be anticipated significantly in advance of the assignment. Degree and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in distributed QA testing for Enterprise Class Systems, with at least three (3) years of test experience using Selenium; or
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field plus three (3) years distributed QA testing for Enterprise Class systems using Selenium.
