Job Description
Position Summary
Wayfair’s logistics network is one of the fastest growing parts of our business. Our captive fulfillment network focuses on items that have historically been challenging for third-party logistics providers to handle such as mattresses, couches, and armoires. To ensure a great delivery experience for our customers we, as an organization, must think critically about where and how we build out our warehouse infrastructure.
Our Construction Design team is responsible for delivering space to match or exceed rapid YoY growth. With millions of square feet of warehouse space under contract in North America and Europe, we are looking to create a strategic and programmatic approach to multiply that footprint in the coming years. This leader will drive the building specification, site diligence and construction management for Wayfair's industrial footprint. In partnership with the Director of Industrial Real Estate Strategy and Development, he/she will drive the roadmap for how we source, negotiate, and stand-up industrial space and how that aligns to Wayfair's broader national, and increasingly global, logistics strategy.
