Otis is seeking an Associate Director of Technical Infrastructure Operations to lead and manage a team supporting key applications infrastructure operations that includes Global JDEdwards, Global Service System (GSS), eLogistics and other global systems. As Otis becomes a standalone company, the successful candidate will play a critical role in establishing infrastructure operational procedures to maintain and support the company's World Headquarters applications, as well as establishing an Otis cloud operations team, working with existing and new partners.

  • Essential Responsibilities
  • Track and report on operational metrics, such as availability, infrastructure performance and infrastructure cost
  • Identify, evaluate and implement initiatives to improve infrastructure, maintain currency and migrate to cloud-hosting, where appropriate
  • Work with application teams to ensure proper operational coverage across all aspects of key applications
  • Support ongoing implementation initiatives across key applications
  • Support and help drive adoption of ITIL practices, utilizing ServiceNow
  • Education / Certifications
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required
  • Basic Qualifications
  • Strong technical infrastructure background, with at least 10 years of relevant, proven and broad experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and related relevant infrastructure
  • Extensive experience with cloud technologies (primarily Azure) and related operations
  • Experience managing operations in a high-pressure, 24x7 environment, with multiple partners in a global setting
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools, such as HP Microfocus (Mercury Quality Center)
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to lead and manage a cross-disciplined, dynamic team in a fast-paced and global environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels of a multi-faceted, global company
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an ITIL environment preferred
  • Professional certification in the field preferred
  • Experience using ServiceNow preferred
