Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze quality data and payment models for MA plans
  • Provide management with findings, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations on quality improvements for plans
  • Serve as point person for Providers and work closely with cross functional segments of the business (analytics, clinical, finance, etc.) to generate, deliver, and communicate quality reporting to Clinicians
  • Identify potential areas for tactical and strategic improvements
  • Provide data and analysis to support financial and utilization analysis
  • Contribute to model building that aids in predictive modeling, hypothesis testing, and serve as the basis for strategic planning and execution
  • Measure and report on financial and quality outcomes of clinical interventions and programs
  • Provide guidance and design from an end user perspective (CORE)
  • Manage and work with other analysts and Hedis consultants

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics and/or reporting
  • Knowledge / Familiarity with Hedis and/or HCC codes / models
  • Foundational proficiency with SQL, SAS, and/or other statistical programs
  • Advanced level of proficiency working with MS Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, lists, statistical functions, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Previous experience with 5 STAR, Hedis, risk adjustment and capitation payment system
  • Experience working with / supporting Providers
