The Intent Lab group was developed to manage Paid Social and Search Media. Through grouping these channels, strategies are developed to maximize the insights available to each, execution allows for optimization across tactics, and consumer intent based touchpoints are activated holistically. The team sits within the Digital department, and emphasis is placed on working closely across all teams, Digital and Traditional, to develop integrated recommendations, and share cross channel analysis and learnings. This position reports to the Intent Lab Group Director.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • The Associate Director will lead strategy, and management, of all SEM and Paid Social for select agency’s clients
  • Ensure efforts align with client’s objectives and goals
  • The Associate Director will be responsible for senior level and day-to-day client relationship management
  • Take ownership and leadership of creation and presentation of all client presentations, POVs, case studies and reporting
  • The Associate Director, Paid Search and Social will actively participate and lead Intent Lab contributions to new business
  • Interface directly with Digital and Planning teams on integration of Paid Search and Social into media campaigns and digital marketing programs
  • Maintain, and grow, strategic partnerships with search and social partners
  • Stay abreast, and provide thought leadership, on innovation with the Social and Search space and bring forward new opportunities
  • Management, and development, of junior staffed based in NYC
  • Contribute to development and execution of training programs for direct reports, and education programs for other agency departments
  • Ensure highest quality of work output from individuals and teams
  • Provide guidance in plan executions and identify issues
  • Ultimate fiscal responsibility of client campaigns and budgets

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiastic and passionate about Search and the Paid Social space
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6-8 years of social and search marketing experience
  • Ability to create social and search strategies from scratch and revitalize existing strategies
  • Experience in applying social marketing to drive strict KPI’s against brand-building & direct response initiatives
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance data and provide insights and optimization recommendations
  • Understanding of best practices for leveraging social and search media for brand communication
  • Familiarity with third-party ad serving technologies
  • Demonstrate proven success leading and growing client business
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Polished presentations skills are a must
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work successfully with teams on multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Self-driven to meet and exceed revenue and goals for our clients
