Summary:
You’ll be the social and search lead. Working with the Director, Search & Social to develop the offering and capabilities in this area and ensuring we deliver value to clients on a day-to-day basis.
You’ll provide support for the client planning teams, deliver thought leadership and manage the activation and ongoing social / search management for client activity.
You’ll manage a team that is responsible for activation, execution and optimization.

Responsibilities:
Media Management
• Provide assessment of clients’ current search and social proficiencies and areas for improvement
• Support paid Search & Social strategy and recommendations for clients’ media plans
• Participate in client presentations
• Continually seek innovative and breakthrough ideas, approaches and solutions
• Input into SOWs and fee proposals
Team Management and Leadership
• Lead Associate(s) and/or Manager(s) in paid search and social’s role within the media mix and help teams define tactical game plans to set search and social strategies and develop media plans
• Train team members
• Accurately, objectively and constructively evaluate performance of Associate(s) and/or Manager(s) via talent development process
• Monitor quality control on daily workflow and that all processes are followed including training and Tempo
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, developing, and evaluating team members
• Strong recommendation of completion of WPP business classes, including: Strategy, Working Across Cultures, Marketing, Business Acumen, and Growing and Winning Business
• Strong partnerships with key vendors and media partners
• Maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external contacts
• Develop POVs and thought leadership pieces to keep planning teams abreast of market opportunities
• Support new business pitches and RFP submissions

Qualifications/Experience:
• 5 to 7 years of relevant search and social experience or related media planning experience, with focus on team leadership and management
• Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and/or communications preferred
• Experience with CMS platforms, 3rd Party API technology, Native UIs (i.e. Facebook Power Editor)
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of search and social media platforms and their respective audiences (Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) and they can be deployed to serve different business objectives
• Motivated self-started who can prioritize and work independently, while provided great attention to detail
• Consistently act as Leader as defined via ONE GroupM S&S’s Leadership attributes
• Exhibit passion through appropriate participation in team, agency, and industry initiatives
