The Associate Director of Sales is responsible for the overall achievement of the group revenue performance to budget, as it relates to multiple lines of business, including: lodging, group lift tickets, food and beverage, meeting space, shuttle service, and other resort activities. The position will manage individual group sales managers and their goals. This leadership position will help support the group sales teams across the enterprise in all aspects of closing group sales and executing mountain group services; as well as helping to develop and execute group sales strategies to achieve overall revenue targets for multiple resorts. This position will work closely with the resorts and their leadership teams.
ADOS will be required to have close communications with the Director of Sales (DOS) reporting on group trends, key strategies, booking goals and weekly sales activity including definite, tentative and strong prospects. Additional job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: working cross functionally and interdepartmentally to drive towards desired group revenue targets, provide leadership and direction to group sales managers to grow group account base in line with the priorities and overall segment strategies and initiatives, assist the DOS in setting sales targets for each sales manager to achieve the overall group revenue goals.
