What you will do:

  • Maintain the highest creative, conceptual and production standards – producing compelling work with flawless execution, while constantly ensuring brand integrity and consistency
  • Translate client objectives into compelling, creative motion graphic solutions, including concepts, designs, storyboards and animations
  • Manage and mentor motion graphics designers and animators on multimedia team
  • Collaborate closely with Director of Multimedia Production as well as CCOE Executive Creative Director and CCOE Art Director
  • Develop and deliver visually-compelling motion graphics, graphic elements, illustrations, title design and lower thirds that reflect Gartner’s corporate brand guidelines and industry best practices
  • Seamlessly integrate video elements into motion graphics design and execution
  • Share passion for great design through motion graphics, animation and video
  • Ensure motion graphics solutions support specific storytelling needs of multimedia projects
  • Proactively communicate within creative team and wider ecosystem of colleagues on projects
  • Collaborate and share skills with junior staff on the execution of tactical projects
  • Lead solutions to design and workflow challenges
  • 1/3rd manager, 1/3rd motion graphics storyteller, 1/3rd designer
  • Multitask on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time annually


What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8-10 years design/animation experience in corporate, agency or broadcast
  • 2-4 years experience leading motion graphic/animation teams
  • Exceptional leadership skills managing creatives
  • Expert ability to understand and visually translate complex business topics and trends
  • Expert storyteller with seemingly effortless ability to go from script to screen using motion graphics and video elements
  • Expert concept, design and motion graphics skills with Adobe After Effects and Photoshop
  • Advanced experience with video and audio editing in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to make strong presentations and sell through ideas internally and externally
  • Refined sense of animation, particularly relating to typography, infographics and logo use
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and share skills with motion graphic team members
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Positive attitude towards problem solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly adjust to new situations and maintain focus to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; very customer and service focused
