• Create programs for broad implementation across the company, and for all levels of associates.
• Deliver in house training programs that are best suited to internal delivery, with an eye toward continuous improvement, especially in new programs
• Be a company culture champion: help communicate the right messages and forward the culture initiatives that L&OD specifically support as well as the broader company culture agenda
• Focus on tools for professional skills and career development for associates, while providing great tools for talent retention to managers
• Develop a mentoring program for all levels of associates to match them with appropriate mentoring partners, set appropriate expectations and guidance for all parties.
• Provide hands on career coaching for associates and managers who need and want guidance in the career development process
• Partner with the HR business partners to ensure planned initiatives are well designed and communicated for optimal implementation
• In partnership with the Head of L&OD and HRBPs, develop and implement a robust Talent Management framework that supports activities including succession planning, high potential development
• Actively participate in the Learning Community, a groups of L&D professionals across the company, to share best practices, content, and to assist in broad initiatives when needed


• At least 5 years of experience in learning and development, some of that in a biotech setting
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing business environment
• Proven experience creating and delivering training programs based on internal demand
• Ability to work both tactically and strategically, in a small function
• Proven ability and comfort influencing others and in a training role
• Demonstrated knowledge and capability navigating LMS systems
• Must be willing to travel, both domestic and international occasionally to deliver training to field or global associate groups
• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Psychology, HR Management or another related field
