Position summary : Associate Director, Field Effectiveness and Training

Manage Field Effectiveness and Training function for Commercial, Medical Affairs and Market Access.

The individual will report to the VP Business Operations and Analytics.

This role will be based at our NYC (Manhattan) office when opened and will require the individual to be at a daily commuting distance from NYC on the hybrid schedule 3 -4 days a week.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Training:
  • Develop training curriculum for Field Sales, Medical Affairs and Market Access
  • Use Salesforce Agentforce platform for training delivery, tracking and enhancements
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts for curriculum development
  • Work effectively with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs and Market Access teams to develop and administer the training curriculum
  • Manage the administration of the Promotional and Medical material development process using appropriate platform
  • Keep abreast of clinical and commercial developments in relevant therapeutic areas
  • Support efforts in meeting planning and execution for national meetings
  • Lead and coordinate new hire onboarding and training programs for account-facing teams
  • Maintain training related performance dashboards

Field Effectiveness:
  • Work with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access to measure field performance against execution priorities, identify gaps and manage required ongoing training and reinforcement
  • Perform ride alongs for feedback gathering and improvement needs identification
  • Partner in the development of Salesforce CRM for effective field support and promotional material review platform development
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations
  • Other related duties as assigned including project management support


Education and experience requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences or related field required
  • Master's degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field preferred

Experience:
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech training and field effectiveness management experience
  • Rare disease experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in training administration and delivery including working with learning management systems and CRM
  • Previous field experience preferred
  • Ability to travel 25%

Estimated salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000 annually. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications, skills and experience of the individual applicant, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographic location of the individual.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives, as well as participation in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, company holidays and well-being benefits.
