The Associate Director of Event Marketing is responsible for event attendee marketing and revenue for a portfolio of growing conferences in the global container trade market, delivered by the JOC. Born out of the 190-year-old Journal of Commerce, the JOC is the market-leading supply chain media outlet within IHS Markit that produces independent, editorially driven data and analysis on its 24/7/365 news site, JOC.com; a 25-times-a-year magazine; and 10 annual conferences in North America, Europe, and Asia. In addition to direct responsibility for event attendee marketing, the Associate Director supports sponsorship sales and event operations and has a hands-on role in the execution of events, helping to drive the team to meet targets and deliver successful events.
