Job Summary 

We're looking for a hands-on Associate Director of Digital Advertising Services with at least 6-8years of experience managing medium to large campaigns (B2B and B2C). Our ideal candidate is someone who has expertise working with SEM, Display and Paid Social campaigns and strategy and is able to partner with clients to own and grow their accounts and strategies. This person also has at least 2-3 years of experience managing and growing other team members and, again, is willing and able to be very hands on in accounts.

Job Duties:

?   Lead account strategy and partner with clients as a trusted consultant; educate and inspire team members to do the same.

?   Mentor with the goal of eventually managing members of the team on strategy and execution.

?   Confidently, competently, and efficiently launch, manage and strategically optimize paid search campaigns across a diverse client base.

?   Analyze campaign data and provide meaningful, actionable insights.

?   Effectively communicate strategy and results to clients in reports and meetings?not just performance of keywords and ad copy, but rather, articulate insights on creative solutions, landing page strategy, and effectiveness of strategy beyond SEM-centric minutia.

?   Continually and thoughtfully educate yourself and help lead the team on strategies and best practices in SEM and paid advertising.

?   Assist in other online marketing initiatives such as media buying; help team members develop into similarly multi-disciplinary experts.

?   Management of non-SEM, non-Google/Bing paid campaigns such as Facebook ads, mobile ad networks, or targeted display placements.



?   The ideal candidate will be well-rounded and want to learn?and educate others?about other areas of customer acquisition and marketing, beyond SEM.

?   Ability to influence client decisions and will have comfortability accompanying the sales team on pitches.

?   At least 6-8years of experience in online marketing with an emphasis in SEM, ideally managing campaigns with $750k - $1MM or higher monthly spend, and some B2B experience is a must.

?   Superb communication skills - written and oral, presentation skills are key for this role ? as is speaking to clients in their own language. No jargony BS, please. :)

?   Skilled at keyword research, writing compelling ad copy, efficiently building out organized campaigns?have an opinion of what else goes on the list of "important SEM qualifications.?

?   Advanced experience with SEM management platforms such as Marin or Kenshoo or other SEM management platforms;

?   Highly analytical in both thinking and hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and other analytics tools.

?   High-end Excel skills: coding, using advanced formulas and pivot tables.

?   Additional successful online advertising experience outside of SEM, such as Facebook advertising, mobile, DSP, branding plays, etc.

?   Bonus points if you've worked in affiliate marketing management or email marketing, understand CAN-SPAM, have helped clients implement Google Analytics, or have other channelexperience outside of SEM.
