This position will have 1-2 direct reports. The position will be responsible for driving financialreporting accuracy within the aftermarket organization. The position will work directly with the aftermarket units (engine centers and repair units), and the spares organization. This role will be responsible for connecting the aftermarket value streams from an accounting perspective. This includes owning all consolidation and eliminations, providing accounting support to the spare parts organization on contracts and other transactions. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Support senior management to drive key business initiatives - Partner with the FP&A organization to ensure alignment - Assist with risk assessments for all aftermarket entities - Review compliance with UTC requirements - Provide technical accounting support to all aftermarket entities - Support new revenue recognition requirements - Help drive quality into statutory financial statement audits/financial statements. Work with local entities to ensure timely completion, understand STAT to GAAP adjustments and control deficiencies identified - Drive process improvements in the monthly close process
