We are currently looking for someone who, as Associate Director of Case Management, can envision and build bridges from the old emphases to the new. An endeavor of this magnitude requires someone with both the confidence and sensitivity to map out, bring in and nurture new interpretations of various roles and interrelationships—between different areas of the hospital as well as the growing garden of disciplines within each team.

Your role will encompass everything from the development and implementation of appropriate work assignments and staffing levels to serving as an expert resource on laws, policies and operational procedures as well as seeing where and how to facilitate change that will promote a farther-reaching continuum of care. Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Requirements include a California RN License, American Heart Association BCLS, BSN and CCM specialty certification. Master's degree to be completed within 3 years of start date. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years’ supervisory experience managing staff performing the UM/Case Management function. In addition to five years of acute case management experience, and five years of acute RN, M/S or ICU experience in an academic medical center. S/He must be a competent leader with a proven track record of successfully managing RN case managers in a large academic medical center.
