The Associate Creative Director serves as one of several editorial leaders of a monthly magazine with 5 million readers. The primary responsibilities are overseeing the editorial lineup in tandem with the Creative Director, planning and executing the feature well, and directing departments in the magazine. In addition, this editor will manage and mentor junior members of the staff, research and develop story ideas, assign narrative features, edit copy; as well as collaborate with designers and other editors on layout, infographics, video, social and feature packages.
Demonstrated excellence in packaging, display, and long-form storytelling both in print and video. Keen eye for detail. Must be highly collaborative and able to work confidently with designers.
