Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively develop product plans with engineering, program management, and customers to drive internal and external strategies.
  • Create key products win strategies and lead the efforts to successfully contract awards.
  • Develop opportunities for sales directly to our engine and airframe customers.
  • Seek growth opportunities with airline customers and other prospective third parties.
  • Acting as proposal manager lead across engineering, manufacturing, marketing, program management, and other organizations in developing business cases for prospective opportunities.
  • Utilize and manage the requiredinternal tool sets to track the pipeline of opportunities for the business and ensure the necessary organizational objectives are met.
  • As required, assist in maturing the process for securing marketing intelligence (technology, product/services, prices/cost positions), developing strategies, formulating proposals and seeking leadership approval to proceed with targeted initiatives.
  • Take leadership role in customer proposals and corollary negotiations.
  • Coordinate strategies with the Program Management Offices business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships within the aerospace industry with our customer base.
  • Wiling to travel up to 40% of the time.

Education / Certifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.

Experience / Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working in/with the aerospace industry.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience with business case development, value proposition design, developing/presenting customer solutions, and/or negotiations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient or Expert in the aerospace industry and market.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Strategic planning skills.
  • Experience leading teams directly or indirectly.
  • Experience communicating and presenting to all levels of an organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
