The chosen candidate will join the Internal Audit for the Americas acts as the third line of defense, independently assessing first and second line management's effectiveness in identifying, measuring, monitoring and controlling the risks of the Bank. S/He will be responsible for auditing the Wholesale Banking, Investment Banking and Markets, and Transaction Banking business lines. The Transaction Banking business line provides clients with treasury management, transactional tradefinance, trust and custody services, and asset servicing solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong audit/internal controls coupled with related experience in Corporate Banking, Capital Markets or Transaction Banking.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related financial discipline is required.
5 ? 7 years of audit / internal controls or Big 4 assurance experience in financial services, including experience with large complex financial institutions is required.
Product knowledge / experience with Wholesale/Corporate Lending, Capital Markets (FX, interest rate derivatives) or Transaction Banking products is preferred but not required.
Exposure to Dodd-Frank Swap Dealer, Volcker Rule (and other relevant regulatory requirements), and knowledge of financial products and services is a plus
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior leadership, regulators, and staff at all levels
Ability to perform risk assessments and analyze risk trends at a macro level, identifying signs of changing risk levels and/or symptoms of process control breakdowns is required.
Strong oral and written communication, including the ability to write clear, concise, non-technical and persuasive risk evaluation reports are required.
Up to 25% Domestic Travel is required.
