Job Description

  • Accountable for sales planning and item forecasting
  • Manage day-to-day account details such as order/shipping follow-up, in-store distribution, sales information/product samples, quote sheets and item set-up, ad plans, inventory management & requests from accounts
  • Effective management of O&A budget and spend
  • Review weekly reports, customer sales and marketing programs and other data as necessary. Recommend solutions and actions to achieve account plus Mattel goals.
  • Work with team, build strategic account plans to achieve both account and Mattel goals in both digital and bricks and mortar
  • Business planning and forecasting as necessary to support strategic selling plan
  • Provide input into category tactics via understanding of POP dynamics for both .ca and B&M
  • Manage assignment such that business opportunities are identified and plans are in place to realize them for both .ca and B&M
  • Interact regularly with Customer, Business and extended Mattel teams to support and enhance the business
  • Preparation and presentations at Toy Fair
  • Ad-hoc reports and projects

Experience, Education & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales working with Walmart and other national accounts
  • Experience working with Walmart and proficiency with Retail Link required
  • Attention to detail, accuracy is imperative
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver profitable growth
  • Excellent organizational & analytical skills including extensive forecasting experience
  • Excels in a team environment
  • Strong PC skills (Excel/Word/Power Point)
