Job Summary

Responsible for total management of Patient Care Services for the campus hospital. Accountable for delivery of quality patient care services, customer satisfaction (including patients, physicians, and employees) and financial results within areas of responsibility. Works collaboratively with all clinical services to ensure consistency across the system. Represents Patient Care Services to the medical staff and in policy making for the hospital; and is designated to act in the absence of the Campus President. Must be able to provide and understand the specific communication, developmental, and treatment needs of patients, families, and visitors. Assures the recruitment, retention, training, competency and continuing education of department staff.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of employees that may include final budget authority, hire/termination/disciplinary authority, performance appraisal responsibility. Job will be considered a member of the management staff with direct reports..

Minimum Education

Master's Degree - MSN, MBA or related (must also have a BSN)

Minimum Experience

5 years - Registered nurse, including acute care and at least three years clinical or related management experience
