Byline Sponsor Finance (“BSF”), a division of Byline Bank headquartered in Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NC, works to provide senior secured cash flow loans to private equity backed lower middle market companies throughout the United States. BSFG focuses its efforts on companies that generate EBITDA between $2 million and $10 million. Products support the acquisition, recapitalization, and growth investment efforts of private equity firms operating in the lower middle market.
The Assistant Vice President / Vice President will be involved in all aspects of due-diligence including review of deal materials, preparation of screening memos, underwriting of new transactions, financial modeling, and independent research. Post-closing, this individual will be involved in monitoring the portfolio which includes trend analysis, interacting with company management, and presenting monthly reports. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of credit underwriting, deal structuring, and can demonstrate an ability to balance detail with broader issues, in both written and oral communication. This individual will be able to draw thoughtful and relevant conclusions based on their analysis of new transactions and portfolio accounts, and can effectively communicate their findings both verbally and written.
Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field.
5 years: Prior cash flow lending experience or transaction accounting experience
5 years: Understanding of loan documentation and credit structures
5 years: Experience in accounting and financial analysis with proficiency in financial modeling
5 years: Minimum of five years of relevant work experience
