Walden Behavioral Care is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Community Relations responsible for all internal and external marketing related messages and material!

Job Summary:

The Assistant Vice President is responsible for managing all Marketing & Community Relations activities, including the management of the Marketing & Community Relations staff and the Eating Disorders Prevention Educator and their areas of responsibility; meeting with Program Directors on a monthly basis to review and determine whether the marketing plan for their clinic is on track and effective or requires a change or additional focus; attending designated local, regional and national conferences and presentations.

In this role, you will have budgetary responsibilities for the Department and will be a member of senior staff, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team on specific projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Vice President will be responsible for developing strategic Marketing Plans, involving but not limited to:

Development of a creative marketing approach that will focus on the engagement and connection with the community and a focus on the differentiation of Walden’s programs from its competitors.
Development of a marketing plan for Walden’s unique programs with differentiation, if necessary.
Attend Electronic Health Record implementation meetings.
Closely working with the Director of Communications to ensure that messaging, social media exchanges and communication formats are consistent and reflect the Walden brand.
Assist the Director of Communications with Walden’s conferences.
Attend monthly senior marketing meetings with the Senior Vice President, Director of Communications and Walden’s Web Marketing, PR and Advertising Consultant to review/update Marketing Plan progress, review budget status, provide department updates; and participate in discussions on the development of messaging, brand enhancement, signage, website changes, media relations and development of all program collaterals.
Management and ability to strategically develop the Marketing and Community Relations teams.

Qualifications

Education:

Master's Degree: Healthcare, Marketing, Communications, Strategic Development

Knowledge:

Management, Strategic Development, Communication, Marketing

Additional Skills:

Leadership and communication capabilities; independent and strategic thinking; flexibility, ability to deliver time sensitive information.

Experience:

8 years in leadership Marketing, Strategic Development, Communications roles, preferably in a healthcare related field
