Description

Hampden-Sydney College is accepting applications for an Assistant Vice President for Business Affairs and Finance. Reporting to the Vice President for Business Affairs and Finance, the Assistant Vice President for Business Affairs and Finance (AVP) is responsible for supporting the College mission by overseeing financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and compliance of the College in accordance to its values. AVP plays a crucial role in providing financial oversight and operational leadership, ensuring that the College's financial resources are managed effectively. In collaboration with the Controller and other departments, the AVP contributes to the development and implementation of financial policies and strategies that align with the institution's mission and long-term goals.

Qualifications

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field, and CPA certification, in addition to a minimum of 10 years' progressively responsible experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in leadership role, required. Master's degree preferred.
