DAY TO DAY: BASIC PROJECT MANAGER, BUILDING PROJECT PLANS, TRACKING AND REPORTING RISK, RAID LOG,
TECH PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Conducts and provides support of small to medium size projects(s) for the Sr. Project Manager. Includes planning, designing, managing, and implementing of all necessary activities to manage the successful execution of project(s) in the Global Finance Processes & Programs organization. Responsible for indirect leadership and support of a team of project resources across multiple departments and business units.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages small to medium scale projects within CBRE’s Global Finance Department ensuring on-time delivery and quality. Oversees and tracks project performance of small to medium scale project(s) ensuring on-time delivery and escalation of risks and issues.
Plans, initiates and supports the execution and delivery of projects while adhering to project management processes. Must have strong initiative and adopt the project management methodology including risk and issue management, status reporting, etc.
Sets-up project documentation including project plan, dashboard reporting, milestone tracking and risk logs within Smartsheet.
Coordinates with communications and change management team members to ensure proper plans are put in place to support respective project(s). Promotes transparency and collaboration across all stakeholders, departments, and project team members.
The Associate Project Manager will be a key point of contact in the coordination of project planning and tracking activities.
Performs other duties as assigned
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field of work.
2 – 4 years of Project Management experience.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
CAPM certification preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information in written and verbal form to project team members, customers and supervisors, etc.
Knowledge of financial terms, concepts and accounting principles and the ability to comprehend and interpret complex financial transactions preferred but not required.
Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Knowledge of Smartsheet or other Project Management tools preferred.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
