Job Summary/Basic Function:
The successful candidate will be expected to develop funded research, teach courses in Mechanical Engineering at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as provide service to the university and the profession at large.
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field anticipated by the start date.
Person involved with the general fields of mechanical design or solid mechanics or manufacturing are especially encouraged to apply.
Essential Functions and percent of time:100% Teaching, research, and service. Faculty member will be required to teach, including lecturing, course material development, mentoring senior design students, as well as advising/mentoring graduate students.
